RULES Please follow our forum rules for Bleach Reborn. They're more or less to make this place nicer ^^ Please note that first there are the rules for being here, then the rules for RP-ing. BASIC RULES1. Follow the ProBoards ToS. 2. Arguments are fine, but please don't start getting ugly about it. 3. Keep all content PG-13. 4. Don't disobey Admins or MODs. If you feel you are being treated unfairly, PM me and I shall look into the matter. 5. Follow any other rules stated on different boards. RP RULES1. No Godmoding. No Powerplaying. In other words, your character cannot be completely invulnerable, cannot hit an opponent every time, and you cannot take control of your opponent or anyone else around the place. There are some examples in the next post. 2. Be realistic. You can't perform several actions in one post without your opponent's response. Example in next post. 3. Be at least Semi-Literate. Example in next post. More rules can be added at any time.

EXAMPLES
Godmoding and Powerplaying
There's some confusion and argument over which is which, but here's how it works here. Godmoding is where you take over another person's character, or don't give enough time for the other person to react.
Example of Godmoding: Bob drew out his sword and slashed at Bill's shoulder, and then kicked Bill in the stomach to make him fall over.
Want to play spot the mistakes? By saying that the slash to Bill's shoulder was definate, it gives no time for Bill to react before he gets kicked. Then to put that Bill has fallen over means that Bob's RP-er has taken control of the character. See?
However, there's also Powerplaying. Here, we will define Powerplaying as having a 'invulnerable' character. This can be taken two ways.
Here's one example: Bob slashed at Bill with his Zanpakutou.
Bill dodged it, shooting Bob with a Quincy arrow. Bob was hit in the arm, wincing from the pain. He then attacked again, despite the weakness of the attack.
Bill leapt out of the way and shot another arrow.
Lets play spot the mistakes again! Bill has dodged both attacks. Now, unless he has a particularly high speed, he's not gonna manage that. Mind you, even if his speed it high, Bob's may be too. But that's another matter. What the problem is is that Bill seems to be invincible, and his attacks just keep coming.
Example two: Bob swung his Zanpakutou and a burst or all his reiatsu shot out.
This is basically being all powerful. Not good!
----------------------------------------------------------
Being Realistic
Following on from the Godmoding example, you can't perform lots of things in one post. Even in real life, there's always oppurtunities to counterattack or whatever.
Example:
Bob kicked Bill.
Bill fell over backwards, then leapt to the side, drawing his Quincy bow and sending an arrow soaring towards Bob. He then jumped up high, shooting another arrow from above and then crashing down onto the ground, punching Bob.
See? Bob didn't have enough tiem to react to all those attacks.
-------------------------------------------------------
Semi Literate
Example:
" Speech in here, using speech marks. " It also helps to place this on a new line, rather than in the middle of a sentence. But it's not required.
Out of chat things like comments or whatever need any of these: Ooc: (()) {} Or anything else you want to use.
Actions must be written out. Don't just use **. And also, it's encouraged to use the third person. Don't know what that means? It's written as if commentating on another's actions, just like RP-ing is meant to be.
So its like this:
Sample of first person I walk along the streets then buy a cake. I eat it.
Sample of second person You saw me walk along the street and buy a cake. You then watched me eat it.
Sample of third person She walks along the street then buys a cake. She then sat down to eat it.
It's also good to get into the habit of using the past tense.
Examples:
Past Tense She walked along the street and bought a cake. She then ate it.
Present Tense She is walking along the street when she stops and buys a cake. She eats it.
Future Tense She will walk along the street and buy a cake. She will then eat it.
And of course, correct grammar and spellings are prefferred, but I'll accept anything so long as it's readable.
Chat speak is not allowed.
So here's the final examples:
Good RP-er She walks along the street then bought a cake. She then ate it.
Poor RP-er walks along street stops nd by cake nd eats it
